Every donation helps us continue our mission
With homelessness increasing by 33%* in Montreal, the need for our services is greater than ever. Our operations require an annual budget of $600,000, and for 2026 we are aiming for an ideal goal of $1 million. This will allow us to offer more support, more care, and reach even more people in need.
Every donation, every share, every act enables new possibilities for thousands of vulnerable people in the heart of Montreal. At St. Michael’s Mission, we have been supporting those living in extreme poverty and homelessness for nearly 100 years, offering them much more than a meal or clothing: a community, support, and the possibility of social reintegration.
Your impact, our 2026 goals:
- Enhance psychosocial support services to break isolation and support our guests in their everyday challenges
- Boost the capacity of our food services to meet growing demand and provide hot meals and bags of groceries to everyone
- Develop our day center operations, a safe and welcoming place for those who need it most.
- Expand our spaces to better serve with dignity.
- Strengthen our teams through relevant training, improve internal organization, and develop our management capabilities.
